Designing With Light is an award winning company practicing architectural lighting design and energy consulting. The firm is based on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The company has extensive experience in residential, commercial, hospitality and industrial lighting design. We have participated in and supported energy efficiency lighting projects throughout the world. Committed to lighting design excellence our staff has practiced the science and art of lighting since 1988.

Managing Director
Kanok is the managing director of Designing With Light. Kanok–“Lili”- has a Master’s Degree in business and finance from Hawaii Pacific University and has been involved in renewable energy in Hawaii since 2009. Kanok is responsible for all business functions for the firm and oversees client relations and project business management.
Senior Lighting Designer and Energy Consultant
Robert is the senior lighting designer and energy consultant. Rob has a bachelor of Science from Norwich University and has done graduate studies in lighting at the Lighting Institute in Nela Park. With extensive experience in lighting since 1978 Robert has led the design firms major projects and energy studies since 1988. Rob has won the BIA Grand Prize twice and participated in many AIA and ASID award winning projects.
